Mel is a trained Florist, who has over 20 years of experience. Owning a florist / coffee shop has always been her dream.

Inside Violet's is "The Flower Bar" which always has a seasonal range of flowers and ready made bouquets.

Mel also specialises in funeral tributes. Please pop in or call to discuss any requirements. A private meeting can be arranged either in the shop, or as a home visit.

Workshops run throughout the year and can be booked in the shop or by calling Violet's.

Coffee, Cakes, Light Bites

Where fresh blooms meet rich coffee and crafted cocktails.

Violet's has an extensive drinks menu, including specialist coffee's, a range of teas, Frappes, Coolers and soft drinks.

Our menu changes seasonally to include new flavours of syrups / drinks. We offer decaf options and milk alternatives. Our coffee is roasted by a local company based in Manston.

Our cake selection changes on a daily basis and includes Made without Gluten and Plant Based options.

Alongside this, we have a range of light bites, Panini's, Bagels and sharing boards.

We also offer afternoon tea, which can be booked 48 hours in advance.

Events

Violet's runs a full list of events throughout the year. Including Disco Bingo, Quiz nights and Live music.

Wellbeing events and Craft markets are also regular events.

Violet's is fully licensed and as such can host parties, hen nights and other private events. The shop is available for private hire any evening, please contact to discuss.

Our afternoon teas can be booked for up to 20 guests, ideal for Baby Showers, Hen Parties and Retirements.
